_the sudden urge to update.

recently i have learnt that karma has caught up to me. something that i have done in the past has now happened in a sort of a similiar way to me.

a good trusted friend of mine betrayed me and yet pretended to me as though nothing happened. it was a huge slap of karma on my face. but i am glad this happened cause now i can see things from ur point of view.

i didnt want to do the same thing to her as u did to me cause i know how sad n guilty that made me. when i saw her, i saw a reflection of me. so i gave her another chance to talk and just let all her emotions out. i stepped down so low just to hear her side of the story thinking there was some reasonable explainations for what she did but all she could do was mutter. it was very dissapointing cause all i wanted from her was an apology so that everything could return to the way they were. unfortunately she didnt. now we are no longer in talkin terms. but at least i made an effort to patch things up.

the truth is i have always wanted to apologise to u but i always thought that my act was so despicable u can never forgive me. i rehearsed my apology tonnes of time. "so sorry i ever did that to you. i understand how u felt when u heard the news." but who was i kidding. how can i understand how she felt when i've never been in that situation b4. but now i can honestly tell i understood how u felt.

with that being said, Simran i am sorry for what i did to u a couple of years ago. u were a really good friend to me but all i did was hurt u. i dint even apologise to u. and it is a fact that has been bothering me all this while. so when the same thing happened to me, i realised karma was trying to tell me something.

i completely understand if ur not able to forgive me but i just wanted u to know that i am sorry. i am really sorry.

i got ma graduation picture 2day.

ma hair is all messy. (it is almost like all ma bad hair days were compressed into the pic)

i look i jz woke up fom sleep..no.no i look like i am asleep!

Legendary Marilyn Monroe

Marilyn Monroe personified Hollywood glamour with an unparalleled glow and energy that enamored the world. Although she was an alluring beauty with voluptuous curves and a generous pout, Marilyn was more than a '50s sex goddess. Her apparent vulnerability and innocence, in combination with an innate sensuality, has endeared her to the global consciousness. She dominated the age of movie stars to become, without question, the most famous woman of the 20th Century.

She was born Norma Jeane Mortenson on June 1, 1926 in Los Angeles, California, to Gladys Baker. As the identity of her father is undetermined, she was later baptized Norma Jeane Baker. Gladys had been a film cutter at RKO studios, but psychological problems prevented her from keeping the job and she was eventually committed to a mental institution.

Norma Jeane spent most of her childhood in foster homes and orphanages until 1937, when she moved in with family friend Grace McKee Goddard. Unfortunately, when Grace's husband was transferred to the East Coast in 1942, the couple couldn't afford to take 16-year-old Norma Jeane with them. Norma Jeane had two options: return to the orphanage or get married.

On June 19, 1942 she wed her 21-year-old neighbor Jimmy Dougherty, whom she had been dating for six months. "She was a sweet, generous and religious girl," Jimmy said. "She liked to be cuddled." By all accounts Norma Jeane loved Jimmy, and they were happy together until he joined the Merchant Marines and was sent to the South Pacific in 1944.

After Jimmy left, Norma Jeane took a job on the assembly line at the Radio Plane Munitions factory in Burbank, California. Several months later, photographer David Conover saw her while taking pictures of women contributing to the war effort for Yank magazine. He couldn't believe his luck. She was a "photographer's dream." Conover used her for the shoot and then began sending modeling jobs her way. The camera loved Norma Jeane, and within two years she was a reputable model with many popular magazine covers to her credit. She began studying the work of legendary actresses Jean Harlow and Lana Turner, and enrolled in drama classes with dreams of stardom. However, Jimmy's return in 1946 meant Norma Jeane had to make another choice- this time between her marriage and her career.

Norma Jeane divorced Jimmy in June of 1946, and signed her first studio contract with Twentieth Century Fox on August 26, 1946. She earned $125 a week. Soon after, Norma Jeane dyed her hair blonde and changed her name to Marilyn Monroe (borrowing her grandmother's last name). The rest, as the saying goes, is history.

Marilyn's first movie role was a bit part in 1947's The Shocking Miss Pilgrim. She played a series of inconsequential characters until 1950, when John Huston's thriller The Asphalt Jungle provided her with a small but influential role. Later that year, Marilyn's performance as Claudia Caswell in All About Eve (starring Bette Davis) earned her further praise. From then on Marilyn worked steadily in movies such as: Let's Make It Legal, As Young As You Feel, Monkey Business and Don't Bother to Knock. It was her performance in 1953's Niagara, however, that delivered her to stardom. Marilyn played Rose Loomis, a beautiful young wife who plots to kill her older, jealous husband (Joseph Cotten).

Marilyn's success in Niagara was followed with lead roles in the wildly popular Gentlemen Prefer Blondes (co-starring Jane Russell) and How to Marry a Millionaire (co-starring Lauren Bacall and Betty Grable). Photoplay magazine voted Marilyn the Best New Actress of 1953, and at 27 years old she was undeniably the best-loved blonde bombshell in Hollywood.

On January 14, 1954, Marilyn married baseball superstar Joe DiMaggio at San Francisco's City Hall. They had been a couple for two years, after Joe asked his agent to arrange a dinner date. "I don't know if I'm in love with him yet," Marilyn said when the press got word of their relationship, "but I know I like him more than any man I've ever met." During their Tokyo honeymoon, Marilyn took time to perform for the service men stationed in Korea. Her presence caused a near-riot among the troops, and Joe was clearly uncomfortable with thousands of men ogling his new bride.

Unfortunately, Marilyn's fame and sexual image became a theme that haunted their marriage. Nine months later on October 27, 1954, Marilyn and Joe divorced. They attributed the split to a "conflict of careers," and remained close friends.

Marilyn was ready to shed her "shallow blonde" image by 1955. It had gotten her into the spotlight, but now that she had the opportunity and experience, Marilyn wanted to pursue serious acting. She took a hiatus from Hollywood and moved to New York City to study under Lee Strasberg at his Actors' Studio. In 1956, Marilyn started her own motion picture company, Marilyn Monroe Productions. The company produced Bus Stop and The Prince and the Showgirl (co-starring Sir Laurence Olivier). These two films allowed her to demonstrate her talent and versatility as an actress. On June 29, 1956, Marilyn wed playwright Arthur Miller. The couple met through Lee Strasberg, and friends reported she made him "giddy." While they were married, Arthur wrote the part of Roslyn Taber in 1961's The Misfits especially for Marilyn. The movie co-starred Clark Gable and Montgomery Clift. Sadly, the marriage between Marilyn and Arthur ended on January 20, 1961, and The Misfits was to be Marilyn's (and Gable's) last completed film.

At the 1962 Golden Globes, Marilyn was named female World Film Favorite, once again demonstrating her widespread appeal.

Sadly, in a shocking turn of events on the early morning of August 5, 1962, 36-year-old Marilyn died in her sleep at her Brentwood, California home. The world was stunned. Marilyn's vibrant spirit and beauty made it impossible to believe she was gone. On August 8, 1962, Marilyn's body was laid to rest in the Corridor of Memories, #24, at Westwood Memorial Park in Los Angeles, California.

During her career, Marilyn made 30 films and left one, Something's Got to Give, unfinished. She was more than just a movie star or glamour queen. A global sensation in her lifetime, Marilyn's popularity has extended beyond star status to icon. Today, the name "Marilyn Monroe" is synonymous with beauty, sensuality and effervescence. v had lunch at ma relativez hoz. ma aunt made chicken rice. and lett me tell u, shez like one of da bez cooks eva. and her 1st daughter, Divya (the one in black) takes after her.

she bakes very well. she made all the biscuits fer christmaz. impressive right.

wen ma aunt told ma dad dat Divya was the one hu made all the cookies, ma dad turned over to me and said "did u hear dat olle?"

and i was like "yea.. so?"

i was angry at 1st. but afta a few seconds, diz is hw i looked.

YERP!!! i've watched dy. c'mon its shah rukh! wad do u xpect? o.0
itt was a highly anticipated film.
and u noe wad it was worth all the wait.
it was suposed o be released fer diwali.
so i was kinda crushed wen it didnt.
but i guess now dat its out at the end of th year its like a happy endin fr the year 2008.
okay. m startin to crap. sumbody stop me.

so wad caan i say bout diz movi?
one thing fer sure..its dfinitely gna be a box office hit!!
love+destiny+god=story of diz movie
rab ne bana di jodi means tuhan yg menentukaan jodoh. so the equation on top sumz up the story pretty well.

but the movie did have its funny moments. it wasnt lovey-dovey all thru. so dats a good thing.
evryone at the theater were laughin hysterically especially us. =) us as in me and ma siztaz.

ma fav scene was the motorbike scene!!

cuz dad jz ni bought the dvd. the movie was blow average. it was like remake of stomp the yard. but stomp the yard was like much beta.

afta the movie was over, watchd david blaine's street magic on AXN till 5.
he is soo sooo hawt...rrrrrrr!
i have been havin crush on him since like 4eva. sshhhh..
if oni i was older..haiihh..

at 5 watched csi new york plar.
and it doznt end der.

at 6- watched Big is Beautiful on rtm2. (omg- the new guy gellasio or cellasio..hmm? wads him his name again? argggh! hu cares wad the name is..wad maters is is he is just soo cute..and soo romantic not bcuz of his appereance or anytin but bcuz he likes Kimi although she is fat and is like the major laughin stock of the the skool! haa...love..

haiih.. i was supose to be watchin Spa Q on rtm3 till half past 7 wic is like a PRETTY cool show cuz its stories of rich good lookin sucessful Malay women hu btw speak awsome English as if it was their native languageor sumtin. i was totally impressed! not oni dat, they have a really good fashion sense but the oni thing is dat their make up is just too heavy fer me. i wonda wad dey look beneath all of the makeup..hmmm?

eh eh!! the imporant ting is i just had to get away fom da tv.

and yeah anotha thing. ma dad sent ma torn jeans to the tailor few days back.
and i got it back ni 2day. it isnt as good as it it was. i can still see the patch.
but i guess its a good thing. the patch wil always remind me to be careful wenava riding a bike.

Scarl€t Johansson was to play th€ good sist€r whil€ Natali€ th€ bad on€. and i must say bof of €m potray€d th€ir rol€s r€mark€bly.

€v€nthough th€ storylin€ of th€ movi€ was rath€r absurd, it was th€ good acting that k€pt m€ watchin.

derz just been loads hapenin at home. wid ma family n stuff.

holidays has not ni been boring but also depressing as well.

the unexpected happened.

i kinda flew and fell of ma bike during practice. injured bof ma beautiful knees.
now i can barely walk.
but the worst part is i tore ma most favourite levis jeans!! sobsobs.
evry1 at daa driving skool thought i was cryin cuz ma knees hurt but i was actually cryin fer ma jeans. haiih.

and and its all bcuz of da f**ked up bike!!! laobeh punya bike!! da bike was soo bloody ancient dat it deserves a place in da national museum. errgghh!! even da brakes were'nt functioning well. ish!! geram nyer!!!

heyhey! m bloggin fer 23rd of Nov. wic is yestaday if any1 is wonderin. =)

me and sisters and dad left da hoz around noon lidat. dad made an appointment wid our family hairstylist. haha. i noe rite. jz like evry1 has a family doctor. ma family has a family hairstylist.
and his name is Stephen.

he's da one in black. and he is one of the best in png. seriously.

and tadaa dats me!! waiting fer ma turn.

afta gttin our haircut, off we went to the mall. v were in da mood fer movies and popcorns. v were jz in time fer da 3 o'clock show fer Madagascar 2.

i love da penguins! weeee!

Madagascar 2 was awesome. it was funny from da beginin till de end. i really love da part when Moto Moto tries to hit on Gloria. and the way he says "girl, you HUGE". it ws a movie worth watching. da jokes and comedies were adult like. so even grown ups wud enjoy watchin diz animation.

afta Madagascar 2 was Varanam Ayiram! god, i hv been waitin all week long to watch dat movie. so it ws like hallelujah!

as u can see fom da picture, 1 hero and 3 heroin. lUckY SuRyA eh?

da story of da film was a mixture of love and family and friendship and self discovery. well it was a story about life. to be specific, it was a movie about how a son remembers his father. da movie wwas so soo soooo sentimental. i cried at the end of da movie. it was very beautifully taken.

fer me da movie was diff fom da usual tamil movies. Gautham Menon did a fab job. and btw hes da director. so did da music director Harris Jeyaraj. all da songs were awesome. just in one listen. u'l find urself humming the tunes of da songs. dey were dat good. ummm but, i guess some will find da movie boring or even draggin especially da guys cuz u noe, usually da men prefa sumtin action packed.

but i think if u really focused on wat the director was tryin to potray, u'll find da movie to be

more den interesting.

afta the movie, v had a light dinner at kfc.

and owh yeah, i bought an anklet.
wic i totally adore.

well dat was pretty much it fer 23rd of Nov.

and and anotha good news, i just got ma 'L'!!!! woooooooo. now all i neeed to do is learn to ride a motor. dats all.

holidays are always so darn boring.

even the very thought of sittin home duin absolutely nutin fer like a month and a half is KILLING me.
gosh i can be such a drama queen at times. *blush blush*

i spent 2day watchin Juno and Definitely, Maybe. again.

2 very diff films.

yesterday plar was Bordertown and Kite runner.

Bordertown was just whoa!

its a movie about how young women in Juares, Mexico are being brutally raped and murdered.
so far da death toll had reach about 5 thousand but the cops and the governmet dont take ny actions to protct em or againts the wrong do-ers fer all dey care bout is making money and profits. fucking assholes!

and heres da best part...da movie is based on true events.

god!!! can u believe it? its really hapening out der. evryday a girl facing a crucial death. so sickening.

eversince watchin da movie..m just really happy and content wid ma life fer der are ppl out der guin thru worst shit den me. haiih.
i really really REALLY reccommend evry1 to watch dat movie. so moving. and get da uncensored ones if possible.

m sorry you guys fer not updatin diz bloggie of mine as i hv been utterly busy chuckin bio facts into diz lil brain of mine.

well couple of days back, sunday evening to be precise, me and ma lovely elda sista Phavi went to Jusco as v vere bored to the max.

ppl say v look alot alike, bu i dont think so. she is alot more prettier den i am.

umm yea..so back to da part bout headin to Jusco. v stepped into the entrance of da Jusco and v cud cee so many ppl buzzin here and der. it was kinda crowded. bt da weird thing was dat der was no sale. i guess afta years or even decades of livin in a suburban area like BM, da ppl here are thrilled to have a convinient mall right here; just minutes of drive from their very home. and yesh, me and ma sister are one of those ppl.

fer like a half an hour, v just roamed evrywer around jusco. in and out of da shops. up and down on da elevator. back and forth fom da galsroom.

and no! it wasnt bcuz v had too pee alot.

it was jz bcuz v had to take close care of how v looked u noe add sum minor touchups as der were quite a number of cute guys in Jusco on dat particular day.

haha! yerp. diz is how me and ma sister bond.

soon v got tired and a lil hungry. so straight v went to oldtown. YUMMAY AND CHEAP! i had a mocha ice blended or sometin lidat while ma sista had white coffee. sadly der was no pic taken as i was busy engulfin hamburgers while ma sister her noodles.

eerrmm next, v wenna popular. =) i was so impressed by Cecilia Aherns style and composure of writing dat i was thriving for more. so i got maself 'A Place Called Here."

basically da book is about how missing things and people end up in a placed called Here. da storyline of diz book is uniquely different. with da end of evry chapter, u tend to question urself wads gna happen nex? n i guess dats wad makes da book oh-so interestin to read.

leta. v wenna a small boutique right in da top most floor of Jusco. ma sista bought a hairband while i bought a handbag. umm well a BIG handbag.

it was just soo vintage dat i had to get it. it was like love at first sight. LOL! i told you i crap alot.

as fer me did nuthin much 2day. while d othaz were busy wid hozchores n stuff, i was readin 'Thanks for da memories' by Cecelia Ahern. dad bought it fer me a couple of days ago bt i ni had da time to read it 2day. da book is jz soo movin. its a story about two diff ppl and hw fate chgd deir life and brought dem2geda. da book is really touchin especially da conversations betwen Joyce and her dad

thiz is one of da conservation dey had. Joyce has jz lost her baby in labour and is really upset and angry about it as she has been tryin to conceive a baby fer years.

This time he thinks about it. Long and hard. He pats ma hair, with steady fingers takes the strands from my face and tucks them behind my ears. He hasn't done that since i was a little child.

" I think he's in heaven, love. Oh. there's no thinking involved-i know so. He's up there with your mother, yes he is. Sitting on her lap while she plays rummy with Pauline rubbing her blind and cackling away. She's up there all right."

i got so addicted to da book. i cudnt get it out ma sight. i jz kept on readin it. something about it dat is jz so soothing. its nuthin like i've read before. da book gives you a kinda unexplainable feeling, its as though ur are livin da life of the charcters in da book. its as though ur in deir shoes. evrytin feels so real. i really recommend you guys out der too get da book. its really3 worth every penny. =)
